Description: In 2 Timothy, the Apostle Paul writes some of his final words to Timothy, urging him to remain faithful to the gospel no matter the cost. In a time of increasing pressure, opposition, and false teaching, Timothy is called to guard the good deposit entrusted to him and faithfully pass the truth on to others who will do the same.

 

This letter reminds the church that the gospel is not ours to change, compromise, or keep to ourselves. We have been entrusted with the truth of God’s Word, called to stand firm in it, live it out courageously, and pass it faithfully to the next generation.
